Villa Vanamo is a modern and ecological cottage made of logs that was completed in the spring of 2021. It is located on the shore of Lake Pitkävesi and is about 800 meters from the main building of Tuomaala’s farm. There are no other cottages nearby so you can enjoy the peaceful nature all by yourself. In addition, there is an adjoining small sunset island with campfire sites. Within the area of Villa Vanamo cottage, you will find also a wood-heated log sauna, a bathtub, and a pier. The boat can be used (+ boating vests) and canoes are available to rent. You can enjoy fishing as well. The beach is hard and rocky. If necessary, you can swim and play with small children on the sandy beach which is 300 meters away. Pets must be agreed upon separately. Smoking is prohibited inside the building.
Cottage’s information
・ The area of the cottage is 100 m2, partly on two floors, the first floor is barrier-free.
・ Terraces on the south and west sides (50 m2).
・ Electricity, geothermal, fireplace, and firewood.
・ WC on both floors. Downstair bathroom with shower and toilet, drying washer, hairdryer.
・ Kitchen with induction hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, electric mixer, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner.
・ Cot and high chair on request, a separate charge for linen.
・ Downstairs bedrooms have a 160cm wide double bed and the other has two 80cm single beds. In the upstairs, you will find a 120cm wide bed and sofa bed.
・ TV, CD player, internet connection.
・ Outdoor: covered summer kitchen with gas grill, electric smoker, and outdoor fireplace.
・ On the beach, a log sauna with piers and an open-air bathtub (can be rented separately).
*The bathtub is not used during the cold season.(Under 0℃)
・ The water depth at the end of the pier is about 2 meters.
