Just a couple of kilometers from the village, you can enjoy the guided Sysipatteri Nature Trail.

You’ll find frisbee golf courses near the Kuhmoinen Church (22 km) and in Västilä, Längelmäki.

Kuhmoinen also offers an excellent mountain biking trail known as Kuhmoisten Kuhmurat.

In winter, downhill skiing is available at Himos Ski Resort in Jämsä (56 km) and Sappee Resort in Pälkäne (49 km).

Isojärvi National Park is 21 km away.

The starting point for the Lake Pitkävesi paddling route is 17 km away. Canoe rental includes transport to the start point.

In winter, you’ll find cross-country skiing trails in the area and excellent opportunities for ice fishing.

The forests surrounding the cottages are rich in wild berries and mushrooms, perfect for foraging in season.
